Welcome.

Adina Duke co-creates cultural arts experiences to unite people and purpose and transform ideas into action. Coming from a long line of journalists and teachers—storytellers and truthtellers—the work of noticing, nurturing connections, and considering meanings is in her DNA. She merges that with community needs and organizational goals to bridge divides, bring diverse people together, and build community.

Adina’s work spans community and donor engagement; informal learning in public spaces; event, exhibition, and collection management; and creative practice at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Spencer Museum of Art at the University of Kansas, Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, and Holocaust Museum Houston.

What’s Adina’s favorite joke? Skip to the end of the Association of Academic Museums and Galleries Member-of-the-Month interview to find out.
