“There Will Come Soft Rains” was commissioned to accompany the Spencer Museum exhibition "Audubon in the Anthropocene," featuring prints by Matthew Day Jackson each titled after a line in Sara Teasdale's poem “There Will Come Soft Rains.” Composed by KU doctoral student Allison McIntosh and created in collaboration with and performed by Meadowlark Project. 2020.
"AMPlify" is a video series that cranks up connections among art, music, and poetry. This episode features Emlynn Shoemaker who presents her selection of Franz Schubert's "Der Tod und das Mädchen" with "Et Toujours! Et Jamais!" by Pierre Eugène Emile Hébert from the Spencer Museum's collection. Created in collaboration with Neal Long and Ryan Waggoner.
